The subscriber account agreement is vague. It seems like they can just cancel the account if you do something they deem 'objectionable'.

On behalf of Boingo:

The Internet access Boingo provides doesn't differentiate between handsets, tablets or laptops. The throughput for handsets & tablets is the same as for laptops; there is no device-specific throttling of bandwidth. The cost differential between Boingo Mobile accounts ($7.95) and Boingo's laptop accounts ($21.95 for Boingo Unlimited and $39 for Boingo Global) is based on the significant difference in volume of data passed in an average session.

Boingo is in the business of providing Internet access to users, not canceling users' accounts. The "objectionable" language in the customer agreement is a legal catch-all for truly objectionable behavior not specified -- i.e., putting a laundry list of 1,000 things that are truly objectionable doesn't meet anyone's purposes and still gives those living and computing in gray areas room to claim they weren't participating in any of the specifically named activities.

so in theory it should be possible, if I live near a boingo hotspot, to use the n800 as a wireless router and have a 5.95€ month internet connection?
