can we have portrait mode for desktop i mean only * desktop * locked to portrait

install CSSU, configure to portrait orientation lock, then blacklist all apps' orientation.

well this is a new explanation for me..is this really possible?can we have a tut for noobs?

tks sifo, one of us is really stupid cause i took the ultra noob way, and still can not find how to have JUST portrait mode as the first post mentioned.....maybe you can provide an explanation or a link instead of being insulting..could be more useful..

there was a hildon desktop release to replace cssu one that gives portrait lock but don't think its part of cssu yet maybe in the future

now this i already know..only problem is that is prior to latest cssu update..so will give errors when apt-get upgrade..other than that is great!

ahhh forgot about cssu update but if you check with others you may be able to pin hildon desktop to stop it updating although this is crude and may mess with cssu, i think there may have been talk of adding this to cssu in the future although may be mistaken
