I know this is old news for most ppl here but here are the settings that worked for me.

Gmail

account title = Gmail
check leave messages on server
Name = Gmail
user name = user name
Password = password
e-mail address= email address
incoming server pop3 = pop.gmail.com
check secure authentication
secure connection = ssl {pop3s}
port = 995
outgoing server = smtp.gmail.com
secure authentication = login
user name = user name
password = password
secure connection = normal {TLS}
port= 25

click save :-]



Hotmail

account title = hotmail
uncheck leave message on server
name = hotmail
user name = yourusername@hotmail.com
password = password
e-mail address = yourusername@hotmail.com
incoming server = pop3.live.com
check secure authentication
secure connection = SSL {pop3s}
port = 995
outgoing server = smtp.live.com
secure authentication = login
user name = yourusername@hotmail.com
password = your password
secure connection = normal {TLS}
port = 25

click save :-]



Yahoo

account title = Yahoo
Name = Yahoo
user name = whatever you use before the @yahoo.com
Password = your password
email address = your email address
incoming server = imap.n.mail.yahoo.com
outgoing server = smtp.mail.yahoo.cpm
secure authentication = Login
user name = your user name
password = your password
secure connection = ssl
port = 465

click save :-]

Yea that's what I was thinking

I thought GMail supported IMAP. Also I had some success accessing Hotmail through the Exchange connector which is similar to IMAP, one con is that it doesn't support HTML messages.
