Hey people,

Here is a map where you can place your N9s.
Let's see how many people checks-in. Let's try to be accurate and use some tag to identify your device.

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...1f019b930e8621

To add your location, click on edit on the left panel and add a placemark where you are. then click save and your position should be there.

Leave a comment in this post too saying from where you posted it.

Cheers

Could just use a GeoIP type service, though people would have to sign up for it. I've seen one for Amiga users at one point.

Then we would need to set a date (N9ers day) and as many as we can/want pin our selves in google maps. I have never done it so I dont know how it works.

I wonder if it would be followed by many of us. Maybe we should pick a day to protest to some nasty decision, like those made by nokia's executive board.

Perhaps, the day N9 is finally removed from the stores we could try it. It might be like a global goodbye from survivors of the Elopcalip...

Correct me if I am wrong, but does this mean that USA has the third highest number of N9 handsets in the world despite of not being in of the official list of countries where N9 was initially distributted?

One can just wonder what if Nokia wouldnt have been such a.... How much profit lost or given away to their competitors. I think I could be a lot better consultant of finanaces thatn whoever advised to Mr. Elop when they told him not to sell N9 worldwide. Jezz...

It would be interesting to see how far the N9 has traveled outside of the official release zones too IMO.

Edit: Added myself to the UK massive... All 4 of us

I'd just like to say I'm a Canadian checking in from the Toronto Downtown core. And I'm aware there is at least one more person in Toronto with an N9, from a conversation I had with a guy who saw a Cyan N9 (this was before the Lumia 800 was released here, so I'm fairly certain it was an N9)

But yeah, sign me up to check in and be counted.

It really does not, you cannot infer anything like that from "Google Analytics for forum.nitdroid.com".
