I wish to change my default search bar engine from Google to DuckDuckGo.
I can change it each time but it goes back to google on restarting Opera.
Also can't seem to delete Google engine eithier.
Any Ideas?

To add engines tap the search bar, tap the google icon/drop bar.
Select manage search engine at the bottom.

Thanks for the tip. I want to change google.com to google.co.uk. Unfortunately, the google setting is readonly.

In /home/user/.opera/ds there is a file called 8_all that contains search engines, but when I edit it, Opera somehow overwrites the file with the original ...
I can change it each time but it goes back to google on restarting Opera.
Also can't seem to delete Google engine eithier.
Any Ideas?
