i had another problem with that...
$ apt-get install libqt4-core
E: Could not open lock file /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (13 Permission denied)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), are you root?
when i type yes, the terminal just go nuts... starts to write "y" continuosly.
just to clarify.... i try to read everything and folow as much as i can all the nstructions... but i'm just a noob...
i'm sorry if i bother with dumb questios but i'm trying to learn

Now install rootsh using applications manager
Now go into terminal and write root
And execute the apt-get command again
