Sorry, but i'm not agree with that any headset with a mic does not work, because I had at least two different 4-pin stereo headsets with a mic (Nokia & Samsung) which did work before problem appeared on my phone, and both of them continue to work now with 'headphonefix' (and mic works too)

yes, iPhone switched two pins (i can't find schematics, but i think it's shifted by one pin) so, iPhone's headphones will just produce sound, but mic will NOT work

No, sorry, I've recently reinstalled the system on my PC and saved only what I really need and dropped all old files.
But anyway, as far as I remember, N950's firmware isn't downgradeable

however, it works + i added it to shortcut menu
it's very nice
hope Mitrandir will merge it
btw, this should be renamed to headset instead of headphone, because magic sent to jack is actually magic of headset

The app doesn't seem to work for me. I just get "Speaker activated" whenever I press the icon. I tried running switch.sh from the terminal and got:
button.state.value = true (bool)
Speaker activated
my euid: 0
my egid: 0
method return sender=:1.7 -> dest=:1.129 reply_serial=2
uint32 1
Any ideas?

I ran "/opt/headphonefix/switcher headphone" as root and that seems to have put it into a state where it started working. I can now switch between headset and speaker using the icon.

sounds like a software problem to me, or driver, etc
