I was looking at the N9 spec's and found it interesting that on the nokia site from what I recall did mention "Meego" or "Meego-Harmattan" as the Os. Now it listed "Linux" as the Os, does anyone recall this? and if they did why did they find it to be necessary to change it.

The n900 too had "Maemo" as the Os, now it's blank. Any thoughts......

interesting... I bet the boys from microsoft are up to this... “hey **** it.. We officially are #2, apple is 1 , so lets say we are better than someone, hmmmm Linux!!”

so since mainstream doesnt (know) like Linux OS then we should downsell there products (harmattan {linux OS}) and upsell our profucts (windows {nokia-windows})

Either Nokia feels "Linux" is better to be associated with in regards to the name or they just no longer want to be associated with "Meego" which most people don't know nothing about. Whatever the strategy is I would hate to see Nokia be a thing of the past.......

Oops, I do apologize and thank you for correcting....It does say it at the top of page. When I looked the other day, I'm accustomed to the expanded mid page area when viewing all the detail information.....
