I was attempting to reinstall easy-chroot and easy-deb-chroot.It was suggested in a thread with a similar problem as mine, accessing files in easy debian.I was trying to edit the festival config file.

In the application manager they just say unable to install. When I try to install easy-chroot via xterm I get an error about configuring dmpsetup.

When I uninstalled them I had logged out of lxde and clicked the "close easy debian" in maemo.I don't know what happened.

Ok I think I understand what's going on.After I flash the device and format the 2gb internal memory, i get 1.87gb back, at least that's what it says in file manager.

But when I run install-tools to clone my install, it brings back all my apps and settings that I was trying to get rid of.In the file manager it shows about 800mb in use.

I'm assuming a partition isn't removed or something. With it being on the 2gb,that shouldn't have any important system files/settings should it?
