im assuming this is the home screen right? can that background image be changed to whatever you want? Also to fit right it has to be 800x480 correct? Just finding out what all can be done on this thing before i purchase it

Yup. Just click on the Home menu, and then "Set Background Image". You can browse any file if the included ones don't please your tastes. Couldn't get much easier!

doesn't have to be 800x480 either. you can tile, stretch, crop etc like in windows

Here's a few collections of high-resolution images that were cut to fit the screen perfectly, with no stretching needed. Just save them in the Images folder on your N810/N800.
