Hi,

I have an N9 that is locked to a service provider and they have not released the PR 1.2 update for the OS cause they haven't "tested" it and they don't know when are they going to release it. I would like to know if somebody can tell me about unlocking the phone via CODE, the one that needs your IMSI, then you receive a code and make a procedure to unlock it. Is it secure? risky? is it worth it? I don't want to wait until they release it. Any advise? or another way to unlock it without risk?

Thanks

only way to unlock your N9 is to ask your service provider to unlock it.

You cannot get working code from 'unlocking' web sites.

Well, since you're on PR1.1

You should just be able to reflash it straight into 1.2

Thereby unlocking it, and having the international version.

Unless there is some issue with that (or maybe the Antenna being different for being a region lock, make sure it's a standard one)

Then that should be fine.

you can't unlock the operator flashing it, just install the standard firmware
