Hi all,

I just bought an N9 off of Ebay, and am completely clueless as to a few things. Forgive me if these questions have already been answered; I searched the forums and couldn't find anything definitive.

*What is firmware?
*Flashing? Is this basically like reformatting to factory specifications?

Why are you wanting to do anything with firmware?
What are you trying to achieve?
Why do you want to flash?

surely to get pr1.3...the extra publicity TMO gets in tech sites brings about this...
