I just picked up yet another gadget from Epson's online store. It's a portable storage unit for digital photography. You insert memory cards and it can copy the contents onto it's local hard drive. WIth the proper USB-A cable, the N810 can mount this drive! The device runs on a battery so no power adapter is necessary.
This was an expensive item when new but the refurb I got was under $200 and the fact that it can double as battery operated storage for my N810 is a plus. Card readers are not directly accessible from the unit when connected, however. There are also limitations on the SD card sizes this thing will accept but this was not really an issue for me.
