I don't know. Maybe it's that I have too many Repo files or duplicates. In red pill mode Application manager shows what look like many duplicate files. I wonder if ths is part of what is causing this bug for me. I'll see if there are bugs filed latter on Maemo. In the mean time, has this happened to anyone else? I open the category menu and click 'new category' What happens next is that the contacts program just closes.

I searched Bugzilla for a Bug report on my issue and found nothing so I filed a bug. the Bug # is 2737. Is it really just me that the contacts program is misbehaving for?

Edit : I just checked. In Red Pill mode all the proper Dependancy files for the GPE Contacts program show up as being installed and are not duplicated. I also tried to uninstall it thinking that might help since I could then try reinstalling. Application manager said it could not uninstall because the GPE summary program needed it. I guess I could just uninstall that also, but that one is working OK for me.
