Hi All,

I owned an n810 many years ago and really loved it. However, I lost it during a trip.

I'm considering buying another n810, or should I buy a n900? I'm seeing n810s for super cheep on ebay ($40!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=230822746555 )

Do you guys think this is worth it?

Both devices are sweet but the N900 is leagues better

I have never owned one but would say that if you are (was) still it useful for your day to day needs, then that one is a steel for its price and it looks well looked after too.

That said, now would be a good time to pick up an n900 if you can stretch to it.

Absolutely, that price is a bargain. You've had one, so you must know that ;-)

It depends on how you look at it. On paper the N900 has better hardware specs (well, 2 years later it'd better have more RAM/flash/CPU at least!), but the N810 has superior screen, keyboard, stand, battery life, input methods, and a much more mature software stack that had evolved organically over 4 iterations rather than the throwaway stop-gap measure that Fremantle was.
