Jablet is a service that myself and Texrat are going to be launching with services specifically aimed for tablet users. This will include Jabber (including gateways to AIM, MSN, etc...), e-mail, blogging, and whatever else users want. We just started working on it a day or two ago, so there isn't much of anything going on for the public yet.

The goal is to provide all these services for free under one unified banner with full graphical tutorials and eventually downloadable wizards to set up everything you need quickly and easily.

Our site is at http://www.jablet.net, but like I said, there's not much there at the moment. Let me know if you want to help out in any way.

Wow, sounds terrific! Also sounds like a great site to use as a homepage once its up and running. I'll keep an eye out for progress reports on the board and help out in any way I can.

I'll be adding a link to our news page to the little splash screen there soon, probably tonight... mainly so we don't pollute ITT with our enthusiasm.

Well, I've spent most of the day on the video center stuff. The database and the files work and open video center as they should. This is just a test and is not final in any way, shape or form. I'm planning on adding a lot more features soon, but for now, bun can get his Katie Couric fix.

http://www.jablet.net/videocenter/test.php

Let me know what you think so far. Stuff coming in the future: users being able to add new streams, autocreation of vcfg files, maybe a rating system... an RSS feed for newly added streams allowing you to add them to Video Center directly from the RSS feed reader.

In case it's not clear, clicking on the show link will take you to the show's main site. Clicking on the TV icon will give you a video stream that should work in Media Player. Clicking on the Mplayer icon will give you a video stream that should work in Mplayer (when a Media Player stream isn't available). Clicking on the sound icon will give you an mp3 audio stream if available.

I intend on adding all streams found in this thread and a few others to the database.

Cool zerojay!

I like many of the revision3 shows, perhaps you could add most/all of them to the list?

I absolutely will be doing that shortly.

Edit: Totally Rad Show added for ya.

Edit 2: Moved Video Center to http://www.jablet.net/videocenter/.

Edit 3: Several feeds added, more waiting to be confirmed usable with mplayer/media player. PM me links of feeds you want added.

Guys,

I have just stumbled across a shiteload of great content for video center....

http://timesonline.co.uk/tol/audio_video/rss/

Its a mixture of audio and video podcasts including:

The bugle- by john oliver from the daily show
Fast food (video) with Gordon Ramsey
The Game- great footy (soccer) podcast
A few other comedy podcasts
Music videos

And loads more...

Apologies if the has been posted elsewherre, i did search! I have tried a few, on my n800 os2008 the videos wouldn't stream but worked a charm after dl.

Enjoy!!!
