I don't have image tool in my current laptop, you can try with any image editor, should be quite simple.
Office Picture Manager does the same thing, pretty easily...just adjust the pixels to 80x80

CTRL button -> click X -> click Y -> Enter

i try to change the sim service icon
i think icon is located at: /usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/icons/icon-l-sim-services.png
succeed to change the icon, but the homescreen icon not changing
Any idea?

if u only want to save press "CTRL O"

@efion
reboot your n9 or restart the service for the homescreen (i forgot the name of it -.-)

if you go "icon=xxx / icon=yyy rename" way, simple CTRL + O saves everything instantly, without a need for reboot or restart homescreen...

i don't know if this works, test it and say if the homescreen updates
