Is there anything to take into consideration when running ddclient on n9?

I made a script (/etc/maemo-dhcp.d/99_ddclient) to trigger ddclient whenever udhcpc gets a new IP.
However, I had to wrap this file in a deb package and install that through inception to get it working.
Doesn't seem very elegant, does it? Is there another way?

I cannot help you in how to find an easier way, but would you be so kind and give me a short howto about do build a deb for such a script. I have the problem to execute an script accorting to the WLAN SSID that I place in the maemo-dhcp.d folder and it would never be executetd.

Thank You

I am very interested in this, I do not understand that there is no package "ddclient". Have you got any success?
