Doesn't look like wazapp is getting much support from the developers here. Oh, I forgot we are not supposed to ask anything from them and especially not "when?" or be jumped on by some over zealous self-appointed minders. Maybe it will just die quietly.

i got the problem suddenly too and btw for your problem
try replacing the protocoltreenode.py file in /opt/waxmppplugin/bin/wazapp with the file in the attachment (Extract it).
i had the same problem as yours, and this fixed it. I've already reported the problem to Cepi and provided him with the file too.

I found the problem that cause to cant send receive msg. It is because the receiver name or status that made it. I found 1 ppl in my contact made me crash, if i dont send msg to him or dont sync him, no more crash. Below is the when i open him without send msg, wazapp crashed
