ive been leaving messaging on and a web page constantly open to my grandcentral address book , and not noticed increased battery drain at all.

I resolve my installation problem removing all repository (leaving only the 3 officials) then follow again the steps from the rtcom site.

Just go into app manager and see what that package installs, and then install all of the packages manually. It worked for me. Just a pain in the a**.
I should clarify that I have upgraded several packages that the installer package depends on, including libglade2-0, and this installer doesn't like that.
By the way, it is GREAT to have all my protocols built-in now!!

I just installed the beta . Now i've noticed my app manager shows alot of new things in both installed apps and browser part of app manager., once installed the update i deleted the 3 catalogs. Is it normal to have so much files in the show installed app section?its crazy. Other than that everything else is ok

you should go back to ''normal'' mode ( a.k.a BLUEPILL mode) , where you'll see alot less details about the applications that you have/can install in application manager.
To do so, go to ''application manager'' --> ''tools'' --> ''applications catalogue''
then click ''new''. type ''matrix'' insted of the ''http://'' and then click cancel.
Finaly choose ''BLUEPILL" when asked.
