I haven't tried TedTalks specifically, but for most downloaded files, if you press "clear" in the Transfers page after the download has been completed, it'll just delete the file. For example, If you downloaded a video, you have to play it at least once, pause, press options and click save. Only then is it saved in the phone and now you can clear the transfers page. Stupid, I know, but maybe this could be your issue?

Thanks.. But unfortunately that's not case.. when i download a video from tedtalks, it's progress is shown only locally i.e within the app itself.. there's no indication in the transfer window like in the case of using a web browser or cutetube..
The problem here is that the app displays the file has been downloaded.. but i couldn't play it neither from the app nor find it on the file listings/stock player..._

I've the same problem since PR1.3. Digging through the qml-files of the app shows that the problem seems to be in the "DownloadManager". However, that is implemented in Qt/C++-code which of course isn't available. Too bad this isn't open source, as the fix might have been easy.
I've also noticed the app calls back home, for usage-tracking purposes, but the domain http://aegis.no.de/ doesn't respond...

Oh that sucks.. well, if it displays that it has been downloaded, maybe try opening it in a different player like mplayer or OVP? It's possible the format or bitrate isn't supported by N9.
If that's not the case, then the downloads are probably getting corrupted somewhere =/

I have been having problem with TedTalks Quick for quite sometime.. With the older version, i was unable to download any talks. but with the recent version v0.2.5, I can download videos but couldn't play within the app as well as can't find the downloaded files listed in the default media player.. I tried searching for the downloaded talks using FileBox only in vain.. anyone facing the same problem or is it just me?.. If so, any suggestions? I am desperate as i am an avid user of Tedtalks..
