Hello! I'm a new user of Nokia N9 and I'm very excited with this phone! Easily the best phone I’ve ever used!

However, I have some questions about the security code:

1) I understand that by default there is no security code. If I set one, will be any problem if I need to reflash the phone? Or I can use the classic well documented method of the sticky thread?

2) If I enable the autolock function to ask for security code every time I unlock the phone, is there going to be an easy digit-only keypad like the one of the pin dialog (assuming that the security code has only digits)? I ask this because the classic virtual keyboard is very inconvenient for this task.

Thank you!

1) if the Sticky thread is the same one I believe, that wont work as it is only for N900, if you forget it you can flash and use the flag "erase-user-data" (something like that, check itsnotabigtruck post) to reset it.

2) I think only the qwerty keyboard appears by default.

There is a screenshot that shows only-digit keypad when asking for security code! Is there anyone who uses this feature to verify it?

If it has only digits you get a numpad to enter the security code...

As @danested said, if your password contains only numbers, it will be shown a only-digit keypad instead of a full virtual keyboard.

Just to clarify for anyone else searching for this.. Here are some screenshots:

If your security code only has numbers, it'll look like this:

And if your code has letters, numbers and other characters, the default keyboard will pop up:

Hope that clarifies it all
