Btw, should the log.txt and previows-log.txt in the .wazapp folder be empty? Filesize is 0 bytes.
Perhaps it's a bug. Another...change I observe is that the contact avatar used to appear in Wazapp. Now, it does not show my contact's avatar (avatar in my phone, not in whatsapp account).

This is because I was on 29082012-1330 (from here: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...postcount=2920) and it was working pretty well. But the Dropbox link is not working anymore (I assume Cepi deleted the file?)

With contact sync: Wazapp quit and cannot be restarted. Can be restarted by deleting .db file.
Without contact sync: Wazapp quit and restarts normally. Previous chats are intact. The only inconvenience is that under wazapp contacts are only those people who had whatsapp you in the first place.
Oh, it's version 01092012.

Another feature which was present in a previous version but not in the latest is that it was possible to save profile pictures in the gallery folder. The latest does not allow it..
I think it is very helpful when you don't have a specific avatar.. you can save in the gallery the wazzap profile picture and make it a phone contact avatar..
please restore it
