I have only tested upgrading from tgalal's 0.2.6 to my version. I have not tried any of CepiPerez's recent builds.
Since you have tried the recent builds, I suggest making doubly sure you don't have a .db file remaining.
Edit: I have just tested Sync Contacts and was successful, and I have about 300.
..eagerly awaiting a solution that works :-)

Install the "stable" version, this worked for me.

Adding new functionallity like push names brings new bugs to wazapp. I'm working hard for fixing this.
Also, I need to change the database file to make some things to work better. It's a lot, please be patient.
And remember it's a beta version. Of course it's not 100% stable.

i've instilled the latest one it worked pretty good but when i quit
it never started again so i deleted the deb file it worked but when quit again the same problem
and when i send a message i have to scroll down to see it
