Common you people don't read the thread even 10 pages back and just whine and whine...Every morning i open this thread and see that it has jumped forward at least 10-15 pages and 90% of the questions+responses are due to lazy people not searching and unwilling to try to find a solution...

Stop spreading fear about wazapp builds... I've been using the newest build. And have had no issues at all...
I'm just sharing my experience after the latest build crashed on me, and how to fix it. I don't like being negative either, but if you think I'm lying or spamming, let me know and I'll stop "spreading fear" here and on Twitter right away.

I had version 30082012 as well and yesterday I upgraded to 03092012, the only thing I did to prevent any problem was to erase .wazapp file in home/user/ and instal newest version over the previous one. In case, you may have some red dots or crashes, just keep quitting and opening wazapp and it will work. If the new notification icon is not visible, a phone restart is all you need. Mine worked fine since I installed and it is quite stable
Have read all the pages since 01092012 posted, Most of the users are experiencing some or the other issues with 01092012 or 03092012 ver... I have 30082012 ver.
which works perfectly fine except I m unable to set up my profile pic. So i think I will probably experiment any new ver. after a positive feedback.. Atleast the main function of Sending/Receiving msgs works fine presently....

My main reason for writing this post:
I was viewing a friends profile pic, and then I switched to another friends profile and tried to view their profile pic and it changed their profile pic to my previous friends one. I went to the cache and saw that it had created the old friend picture in the account number of the new friend, with the old picture still in the folder. I deleted the newly created picture restarted wazapp multiple times but it still shows both contacts with the same picture.

hi Guys. i attached a log just to confirm my problem with latest build ,i am back to the previous build yes i deleted the db file yes i removed the account and recreated it and all the shared folder of the previous build has been removed , i just wanna help and again thanks for the developers and for the ppl trying to help ,thnxlog.txt
