9/13/2012 >> Added bugtracker link. Feel free to submit bugs!

https://garage.maemo.org/tracker/?group_id=2356

This is my entry for the coding competition 2012.

It's a task list GUI wrapper built around the native calendardb of the N900. The default UI really sucks. The API is strong. This app tries to bridge the gap. One of the benefits of using the native calendar is that tools such as syncevolution should still work with it.

I added a feature to store the tasks and notes items in the databases in their own folders. There are also a few 'smart' views.

Most of the work I did was around designing and building the UI. I wish I had had more time to work on more, but this is it for now. I was in such a rush so please don't judge the source code too harshly

It's been pushed to extras-dev so check it out and let me know any feedback.

sweet mercy. This is the missing link between the maemo calander and useful.

I am excited about this one.

hi, i was really happy seeing sth like this in the repos. so i installed it right away. First thing I did was deleting all old task from 2010 when I first used the tasks feature of the N900 and then left it for dead. The Tasks deleated all well, but there was also a note, which keeps showing although i deleted it.

edit: i can edit the note though

Seems like a bug. I'm gonna set up a bug tracker and try to keep improving it even after the competition.

Where did you find the API? I've been trying to set up Calendar integration for Saera.

Hi, can you give me a sample of where it's failing?

I didn't focus on translation nor unicode as I'm still learning Qt/C++.

If you show me where it breaks, I can fix it.

Thanks!
