ok i just want my n9 back to life

i have never flashed my n9 manually. is this correct or i forgot sth:
1. download the last 2 files from navifirm
2.turn off the phone
3.type cd C:\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher\
4. type flasher -i
and the next step with replacing i dont understand....will i replace it in the cmd window or where?

Till step 3 you are correct...

See the last two files from navifirm are the rootfs.bin and emmc.bin...Flashing emmc.bin will delete all user data too like messages, photos, music etc...

In your case try flashing just rootfs.bin first...

The command after step 3 is:

flasher -f -F rootfs.bin -R

If you want to do a full flash of rootfs+emmc then you must do:

Code:
flasher -f -F rootfs.bin 
flasher -f -F rootfs.bin -F emmc.bin --flash-only=mmc -R

Still we try getting it up without the reflash first

ok its still the same now we have to flash it i think :/ first i will charge the phone up to 50% battery.

i typed flasher -f -F rootfs.bin and put it in for 1 sec. there was 30%...is that enough?

Yes more than enough just let the process go on now...Don't plug it out as it might get screwed furhter

good...so "flasher -f -F rootfs.bin" or "flasher -f -F rootfs.bin -R"(this was in your last post) ??

The -R will mean your phone will boot up after the flash so just do with -R then you don't need to worry about whether to plug out to reboot etc...

there is an error: failed to flash images.

so i have installed navifirm, winflasher and downloaded the file to flasherpath and renamed it in rootfs.bin
did i forgot sth?
