according to tgalal, it's just an issue isolated to you only.

just checked with arie. Reinstall drive, then open wazapp and maps then open drive, the issue shouldnt happen again. To reinstall drive, apt-get --reinstall install nokia-drive-qml

Dear all, Just wonder how to backup the db file to the Win PC. I'm going to upgrade N9 to PR 1.3 so want to do the backup to PC rather than on the phone only. Tried search the thread and the wiki but still needs help by posting a new reply.

follow the wiki for the .db location then open terminal and type:

cp -R /path/to/.db /home/user/MyDocs/

Now you can plug in your phone to pc and copy the .db file from your mass storage(emmc) partition...

you need to have terminal (use developer mode to get it). Ensure it is not connected to your pc at this stage, and that youve closed out of wazapp using the quit function.

from terminal:

cd /home/user/.wazapp
<press enter>
cp *.db /home/user/MyDocs
<press enter>.

Close terminal

plug it into your pc, and you should see a .db file. this is what you need to copy.

edit: beaten.

Not sure if bug or feature:

When you delete a contact from phones contacts, it will still be present in wazapp. Even after doing synchronization again. There is no way to delete that contact inside wazapp.

Thanks for mentioning backup. I almost forgot about that. I added GUI how to as well as terminal way to the wiki.

It's not logical the way it works before, even whatsapp sincronize all the contacts. Can you explain your logic?
So stop spaming with this, if they could re-implement they will do. There is a lot more improvements to do before this useless feature.

malkavian, this feature was giving devs some problems so it got scrapped...The latest from this was by Cepi who informed about the deletion of this feature...
