Just search for Touch Screen Digitizer on ebay or wherever you're buying from mate. Here the sample from UK, ships worldwide: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nokia-N900-Touch-Screen-Digitizer-Replacement

However I was not capable of removing 2 of the screws from the back of the lcd, so I stopped before destroying them.

What tools are you using for this mate? I've disassembled around 20 n900s so far and never had any problems with those screws. Not sure what else I can suggest really. That's the sort of tools I'm using myself: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tool-For-Nokia-N900
Now I am looking for a dead N900 with a functional lcd/touch for replacement parts, or a spare lcd/touch.
I am in Brazil, and I would love to find a N900 nearby.
Please PM me if you are interested.
