Hi,

i have a N9 with PR1.2 and can't install aegisctl (I need it for easy debian/openoffice). I have tried aegisctl Version 1.2 and 1.3. In both cases incept/dpkg says aegisctl needs a newer kernel Version (I have 2.6.32-20112910+0m6 and it needs 2.6.32-20115101+0m7) What can I do / how can I install a newer kernel?

your not running PR1.2 according to kernel date, so you first need to flash your device.

then why not simply flash to pr1.3? flash to ROW fw...

I flashed now to PR1.1, as I heard, that the newer releases would be more closed as the older ones (concerning things like installing gcc)

you heard wrong, PR1.3 is as open as PR1.1.
