Are you guys using the 770 build of Hamachi on your 800 or is there another build somewhere?

I dont me to post this all over this site but I need some help!

I am having much trouble installing Hamachi on my n800 with OS2008.

Installed gainroot and dropbear.

first problem was
"cp /home/user/MyDocs/hamachi-0.9.9.9-20-n770.tar.gz /hamachi.tar.gz
The correct file name is hamachi-0.9.9.9-20-lnx-n770.tar.gz

second problem is after
"cp /home/user/MyDocs/hamachi-0.9.9.9-20-lnx-n770.tar.gz /hamachi.tar.gz
"cd /"
"tar -zxvf hamachi.tar.gz"
everything extracts to "/hamachi-0.9.9.9-20-n770"

So I altered the directions hoping it would work.
"cp /hamachi-0.9.9.9-20-n770/hamachi /usr/bin/hamachi"
worked

"cp /hamachi-0.9.9.9-20-n770/tuncfg /sbin/tuncfg"
i get
cp: omitting directory '/hamachi-0.9.9.9-20-n770/tuncfg'

Can anybody help me here?! As you can see I am a total linux noob. But I love using Hamachi on all my pc with vnc.

Thanks

tuncfg doesn't need to be copied to sbin, however, it does need to be run as root once per device boot.

I'll have to pull down the latest build, it sounds like the steps have changed, I'll post an update for you later today. If I don't, feel free to send me a PM reminding me that I'm a slacker.

I put together a few scripts ages ago that ease the pain of Hamachi. I may even try to roll it in to a deb...
