Hmmm....

The gray background, almost square image, is static though since it appears behind every contact image.

Could it perhaps be found in home/user/.icons/xcursor-transparent/cursors/?

I can't view any of those images though because they have some type of different encoding to them.

Okay. With the help of user Creamy Goodness here, it looks to be 384x384.

Now I know what size to crop my images so they don't appear distorted on the screen anymore.

Joy.

I found a killer FTP site.

What would be the best app to use for this?

I'm trying to make a copy and paste shortcut key.

In my .xbindkeysrc file I've got

"xclip -o -selection clip"
F7

"xclip -i -selection clip"
F8

It doesn't do anything even though the output one works on the command line.

What am I missing on this?

Thanks ahead.

http://linux.die.net/man/1/xclip

Code:
-selection
specify which X selection to use, options are "primary" to use XA_PRIMARY (default), "secondary" for XA_SECONDARY or "clipboard" for XA_CLIPBOARD
Or just get rid of the "-selection clip".

Yeah. I now try to read up on the internet before posting any of my stupid questions. *lol*

Note that only the first character of the selection specified with the -selection option is important. This means that "p", "sec" and "clip" would have the same effect as using "primary", "secondary" or "clipboard" respectively.
I've tried your other suggestion as well before posting here.

It works just fine in Xterm using the command line, but anywhere else, nothing seems to happen.

I don't understand why that is.
