i wouldn't like to carry around a stylus as an extension by any mean, but it is really a plus to have it nicely build in the same way n900 did. Many times I find my self needing a stylus.
Bring it back and be innovative, it doesnt bother or break the design, so why omit it?

The short comings of MultiTouch Resistive screens is that it cannot be as reinforced as glass/capacitive and it's very bad in the corners or requires a bezel. On top of this, it makes it bad for gestures like Swyping.
