Same here, Opera Mboile 12.10.16, worked like a charme 'til today, suddendly got a crash every page loaded. I tried launching opera from x-term, it seems a little bit better in this way. We have to find a solution, it's really instable

CSSU flavour testing, last update. KP51.

i think low memory on device may be a reason.

because it runs perfectly but when it try to write some data it crashes.

Nope I don't think so...I've sufficient memory as do I presume others who have reported too...

My output:

Code:
Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on

rootfs                  227.8M    154.3M     69.3M  69% /

/dev/mmcblk0p2            2.0G    638.8M      1.2G  33%

/home/dev/mmcblk0p1           27.0G      6.2G     20.8G  23%/home/user/MyDocs

I too am experiencing the same issue, Opera closes itself after loading any webpage - I am running a bog standard N900 (Maemo 5 version 21.2011.38-1), no speed tweaks, no CSSU.
Opera Mobile v 12.10.16

Hi guys, Same here, Opera 12 also started crashing suddenly since yesterday, happens every time as soon as the page loads. It was rock solid up until then. However no crashing when started from console.

Same problem.
Partly soultion is edting opera.desktop in "/usr/share/applications/hildon/" to start opera from xterm (terminal window will run in background)
[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Version=1.0
Type=Application
Name=Opera
Comment=
Exec=osso-xterm -e opera
Icon=opera
# Terminal=true does not work in Maemo
X-Window-Icon=opera
X-Window-Icon-Dimmed=opera
X-HildonDesk-ShowInToolbar=true
X-Osso-Type=application/x-executable
It's not good solution, but better than closing opera after few seconds

For me, Opera loads a webpage, as soon as the webpage has loaded, opera downloads several fils from an Opera server, and crashes immediately thereafter.

The files are:

Code:
http://xml.opera.com/userjs/fusion/?pnum=101321&version=12.10
http://get.geo.opera.com/res/servicefiles/browserjsfiles/mobile/browserjs-mobile-12.10-20121109.js
http://sitecheck.opera-mini.net/?host=XXX.XXX&hdn=B5AsQM9wqPA05lz2stYVKA==
(XXX.XXX is the site you tried to visit)
Although, blocking access to those URLs doesn't seem to help either, opera still crashes at the same point after trying too retrieve the above URLs.

Seems they changed something on the server side, I wonder if it is possible to disable access to opera servers

If you change http://xml.opera.com/userjs/fusion/?...&version=12.10 to http://xml.opera.com/userjs/fusion/?...&version=11.50 some way (hosts file?) (proxy?)
