this app is growing better and better

the only issue i have on N900 is a difficulty to switch between portrait and landscape and viceversa.

another trivial issue is no virtual keyboard

It does not rotates correctly? or performance issue so it takes long time to rotate?

the specials can be, and will be implemented after adding venue management functionality.

it takes so long. some times black screen until i switch to original position.

btw i updated to the latest dev, and only nokia map is working, osm and gmaps no.

nice to see the add new venue is going to be implemented and the map scroll also

I have reimplemented all maps providers as tiled managers, so all scrolling will be smooth.
osm and google was completed at night but they havent been tested on device yet.
They will be released for maemo today

When I launch app see splash, then black screen and nothing... (N900).

Build 201211121755 and previous one.

i'm investigating that problem.
for now - you have to switch to stable version to get nelisquare working again.

update: it seems like dependency problem with qtm12 and qrtm12-location packages. still investigating.

update2: i found the solution. it will be fixed in next beta build.

Dear n900/maemo users

If after last beta update, when you launch Nelisquare, you see only black screen, like @Bashev does, please downgrade to stable version, or upgrade to latest beta manually using this link nelisquare-devel.deb

problems was caused by loading wrong qtm library by maemo enviroment, so nelisquare was unable to start.
For now it has been hotfixed at beta v>= 201211122100.

For all troubles caused, I present you all map providers available with smooth scrolling! You have to reselect your desired map provider at settings screen.
Nokia, google, osm - all are now available, and we are one step close to make nelisquare more awesome!
smooth maps are needed for explore venues, and point-to-map location pickup while creating or editing venues.
