BTW, how do you know the manufacturing country?

To get the revision number just type in terminal as root:
The line(s) you are interested in is:Code:cat /proc/cpuinfo
I think its a revision issue as mine is like yours on the right and is an older revision while the newer ones may seem to be like those on the left...
The one on the left in the picture is 64G, revision 1601.
The one on the right is 16G, revision 1603.
In the mean time, I've had more replies. It seems that there's no real solid reason for one lens vs the other?

I've not done enough extended test, but a few pictures of the same item/situation (indoors with light through window), the left one ( 64G, rev 1601) gave me the initial impression that it's truer to the color that I see;the one on the right had a warmer, reddish cast (16G, rev 1603). Again, that's very general, and before I get more used to the camera, I can't be sure.

make sure you compare pictures on the pc. Different N9's have significantly different color tints on the screen, so comparing on the phones themselves may produce distorted results.

Black 16GB N9, HW Revision 1507. Larger lens, reddish tint.
Originally came with PR1.1 005 when DHL dropped it off.
