It means put the files that you want to share inside that path.
BTW, why do you ask us questions about Maemo version we didn't make?
Maemo version works completely different and not to mention has only half the functionality.
Submit your questions to the creator of Maemo app, please.

I think the N9 can't create hotspot/network in the US, so PirateBox doesn't work unless you use a workaround, such as this one or the SpotOn app.

Just putting this out there for any other users in the US

I cant see The pirateBox network On Android devices... Neither The Wifi hotspot... Can you help, please?

PirateBox creates an Ad-Hoc network; some Android devices are known not to be able to see/connect to Ad-Hoc networks...

However, google for your device and i'm sure there is a fix for it...

A fix to The androids could see my AD-hoc network?

Yup search for your device and your android device can view/connect to Ad-Hoc networks then...

Tip: xda is always a good place to start if you don't want to google...
