OK, mundane question about chargers, but searching the forums re: acp-12u yields nothing.
I've got a older Nokia wall charger, acp-12u that outputs 5.7V at 800ma (= 4.56 Watts). It appears by adding the adaptor in the link, I can get this charger to physically fit in the N810 charge slot.

Question is, can I do it w/o damaging the device? The charger that comes with the N810 (AC4U) outputs 5.0V and 890ma ( = 4.45 Watts).
Also, from the same old nokia phone, I have a car charger, model NO3300. The same adaptor would allow this charger to physically plug into my N810. Same question- can I trust it? There are no voltage/amperage specs on the car charger.
