Hi all, I just upgraded to OS2008. I love the new layouts, and I especially love the look of the Google bookmark links that came standard with it, with two small problems.

First, there is no icon showing for the "Google Calendar" link, and second, none of the bookmarks I create are adding the favicon (the image seen in the address bar) to make everything look nice and clean.

My question therefore is twofold:

1: Is there supposed to be a proper icon for the Google Calendar bookmark link?

2: Is there a way to customize the images used as bookmark icons?

Thanks in advance.

Use a text editor to edit ~/.bookmarks/MyBookmarks.xml
The format shnould be pretty obvious. Calendar doesn't seem to have an icon but you should be able to add one.

Sorry for my "ignorance", but how do I access the file in the first place?

You can navigate there (don't think you can using the default file manager without xterm). The command would probably be cd ~/.bookmarks/MyBookmarks.xml
