use dpkgmgr to install it, or just open the deb file in a file explorer like filebox

From FileCase, I see the Nightly installation procedure running and it ends by "Installation interrupted". End of story.

dpkgmgr, what is this? If I type this into a terminal I get "dpkgmgr not found".

Thanks, but as I wrote yesterday, this doesn't work. Here is the trace:

Code:
/home/user/MyDocs/.downloads # dpkg -i fennec_17.0~a1_armel.deb
Aegis rejecting fennec_17.0~a1_armel.deb: tar base265 size not supported
Aegis rejecting fennec_17.0~a1_armel.deb: opt/fennec/lib/fennec-17.0a1/libnspr4.so not installed by the package
Aegis rejecting fennec_17.0~a1_armel.deb: opt/fennec/lib/fennec-17.0a1/libsoftokn3.so not installed by the package
.......................................................................................
aegis aborting dpkg -- all listed package files rejected
Compilation failed in require.
And so...it fails

Your .deb file looks corrupted; have you tried downloading it again?

I'm stupid enough to not having thought about that. It works now, thanks a lot.

Firefox stock is a disaster - use Opera instead - in the meantime - much better only missing video facility!

Thank you for telling about Nightly 17.0, which is much better than the Firefox 15.0.
It's faster and not jumping around on the screen as a chicken like 15.0 and then you have video access.
Exciting to see the outcome of the Fennec (Nightly 20) in this Forum, because still a pair of bugs in 17.0:
1) as the 15.0 also here the function 'Reformat text on zoom' dosn't function(?)
2) Further changing languages to Auto-detect made the app crash and trying to re-open just made another crash and then a lot of reinstalling the app before running again - so don't try that!

Yes 17.0 is clearly faster. I'm not a big fan of Firefox on the N9, in landscape mode, is pretty unusable since the keyboard is activated.

But, Fennec works with Mozilla Sync, and that's definitely a must have for me.
