That error is because some resource like App Manager etc are using pkgmgr... You can try in a few mins, make sure App Manager is closed and if still the error pops up just do as root "rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/lock"
Then as root "apt-get update"

I really don't get it![]()
Nobody has complained of such an error and its up so why it affects your system I don't understand. In the interim maybe you can manually download any packages you require.
Repository.maemo.org is back up but its very slow so in the worst case scenario just switch back to repo.maemo.org and update via there; it'll take a long time but at least it should be done...
