I've installed omweather and stock ticker and have a few generic desktop applets, occasionaly the system will freeze for a moment then blank out and redraw the desktop except it clears all the desktop applets and doesn't show the load-applet (cpu monitor)
I'm sure that too vauge to diagnose but what i want to do is be able to restart the load-applet without rebooting. I've looked around for the "executable" (you can tell i'm mostly windows based) but to no avail.
I tried this: but got nothing useful
Nokia-N800-50-2:~# grep -r "load-applet" /*
So where would one go looking for this sort of thing (windows/system32 = /user/bin ??) or how else can i restart load-applet
