Main difference is that Thumb2 support is enabled, which saves a lot of ram and increase the performance of the N900.

or maybe the poor guys just sick of the constant request for updates.

don't forget this is a testing build built on a testing build. if freemangordan wants to try something out here that can be fed back to cssu-s/t so be it.

Which repo contains new microb and pulseaudio ?
I have all repo enabled (extras, devel, tesing, cssu thumb and skeiron mirror cssu testing)
Apt-get only upgraded hildon-desktop, pixman and mp-fremantle-community-pr

hmm, not exactly, pixman is in cssu-devel for about a month and most-probably will make it in the next -testing, the same for hildon-desktop.

Yep.

No such plans as of now. Once CSSU repos work again, I (most probably) will start pushing for thumb autobuilder and merging CSSU-thumb back into mainline CSSU. I think that an year of stability testing is more than enough to prove that it works ok (thumb2 ISA).

Well, I did this (push something here before -testing) only when I am 99% sure it won't bring problems. Also, I don't want to leave the impression that I have abandoned cssu-thumb.

BTW there are only 2 "new" packages in yesterday's update - pixman and hildon-desktop, the others were sitting in the repo since..umm... February? If "mainline" CSSU was not obstructed by the migrations issues, the yesterday's update would have been issued by the end of the February or earlier.

@ n900_: those were in the repo for a while, most probably you've updated them by hand in one of your previous "apt-get upgrade" sessions .

totally understand that. packages have been discussed here so it just means there gonna get more testing than most.

with respect to thumb/cssu in general, any chance of providing a preconfigured vm image to aid in setting up a sane, common build environment?

search on tmo for instructions earlier turned up gcc 4.6, forgot to check wiki. just thought it would reduce errors introduced by individual setups by ensuring everyone worked from the same setup.
