When I'm reading a long piece of text on a web page I prefer to copy and paste it into the pre-installed Notes application for easier reading, i.e. I don't have to zoom and scroll across in the browser. But sometimes when closing Notes after reading the article the "save or not" dialog box comes up and runs berserk highlighting the three options consecutively in a running loop that goes on indefinitely until I close Notes. Then when I return to the original web page the right hand scroll bar starts running on its own, scrolling the page to the bottom and I lose control of the bar. The only way to fix this is to shut off the N800 and start again. I have upgraded to OS2008 and the only non-Nokia application I have loaded is FBreader which I have since uninstalled and the problem still persists. Can anyone help here. I have searched for threads that address this and come up with nothing. Thanks.

Have you searched the maemo Bugzilla or reported the issue there?

On this topic, here's another applet idea.

Select text, tap and hold and in the context menu, add 'Copy to Note' or 'Add to Google Notebook'

Anyone?

Thanks Tim and Ghoonk. I will send a report to Bugzilla. Good idea. As for the "copy to note" idea, there doesn't appear to be that option on the pop-up menu after tap and hold and also it's not available on the main edit menu. But thanks for your reply and it's a good idea to just go around the glitch somehow.
