Downgrade N900s screen resolution to ipod touch 
IF you want to watch better quality youtube clips i would recommend installing mediabox application and searching/selecting better quality from there.

Hi Guys,
am I the only one that can see that the youtube video quality on the nokia n900 i really poor?
my girlfrind have a Ipod touch 2g, and when she watches youtube videos the picture is really sharp.
is there anything I can do to improve the quality?

(May 2013). I'm using CuteTube. Easy menu,is fluid, easy search (select "by relevance "! ) Is perfect 4 me. Awesome quality, i have a lot of playlists an cutetube makes no problems with it. Capable to download audio and video for some of them.
