I guess they erased reviews because of all the download problems and that people gave bad reviews because of those issues and not the MeeRun-app.
Download issues should be solved now so you could buy it. It's a very nice sports tracker.

That's because I had to upload the item several times (that's what Nokia asked me to, because of the download issue). They unfortunately cannot be merged Here are the 3 links:

http://store.ovi.com/content/363791 (official one for harmattan and symbian)
http://store.ovi.com/content/366068 (deprecated, but will be maintained for harmattan for people who bought it)
http://store.ovi.com/content/357611 (broken)

Best way to inform rest of users...
It's been about ten days I'm using this software on my N9 and I am more than happy about this app!
I just wanted to add a positive comment on ovi store (directly from my n9), hoping it will help a little to make this software more popular. But it is not working... There seems to have some issue while sending the message :/

Since I bought the version from "366068" link and not "363791", it should explain why I am not able to leave a comment :/
Moreover, I am not able to have the 1.1.4 update.

Two questions:
  1. Are you planning to develop a version for Sailfish OS? I know it's a bit early since we even don't know if jolla phone will have built-in GPS, but I'm just curious about it.
  2. I am walking something like 10km a day (with an average speed of 6km/h) in town,so I can't say it is hiking nor running. I suppose that each activity is designed to fit the exercise (more time between each GPS track, filter setting and so on...) So can we expect having a dedicaced walking profile? Now I am using "hiking"...

One last thing: French translation is a great surprise

Hi bwalter
I show your App to my friends and they like it some much, they ask me if you will port it to Android.
Will you do it?

The 1.1.4 release just adds unisignificant updates to satisfy Nokia's QA (privacy policy dialog and GPS location data option disabled by default). Both items (363791 and 366068) will be updated as soon as the new release is available.

Regarding the other questions:
  1. Yes, I of course have plans to develop for Sailfish OS as soon as I am able to get a device.
  2. I guess that "Hiking" should be renamed into "Walking", it is more generic

An Android port will probably be available later this year, but the current priority is to support Blackberry 10 devices and of course new features for Harmattan, Symbian and BB.

Hi! I really like this app! However, there is one important feature missing: Since I use this app for mountain biking or hiking it would be great for me if the app would not only show a plot with the speed over distance but also a plot with the altitude over the distance. Would it be possible to add such a feature? Would be great if the plot could be accessed by swiping once more to the left side. Starting from the main screen, swiping once brings you to the speed vs. distance plot, swiping twice brings you to the altitude vs. distance plot.

Your wishes are on the roadmap of the developer. Please, have a look at message: #148.

I like the MeeRun application, too, and wait for the same features as you are waiting for.

I've tried the App several times now. Unfortunately it does not work as expected. Power consuming as hell, inaccurate....

Switching back to MeeTrainer for now.

Your review lacks a lot of details but i will try to answer anyway. Accuracy and efficient GPS filter belong actually to the focus of the app. You can even compare the raw data with the filtered one. MeeRun does not have any influence on the raw data, if you get inaccurate data, that can be because you are using wrong filter settings. Don't hesitate to send me the GPX files. If possible, also the .mrgpx files In the .MeeRun/Trainings directory.

The power usage should also be much much lower with the latest version, maybe you are using an outdated release you found in internet or the wrong app
