I live in Al-Khobar, and been using voipdiscount sip settings on my Nokia n9 for almost a year, but just recently i saw that my Nokia N9 is not connecting to SIP network. It always gives same error message "Can't connect to SIP". Does, anyone know what could be the problem and also its solution? Thanks.

Hi there! i also live in ksa and use voipdiscount vt from the past one month it is not able register from d N9. it is coz the mobile operators hav blockd it over here coz u can do it thru wifi bt nt 3g.. U wont be able to even view theur website from ur phone.. only the devices with MobileVoip app r able to make calls over 3g that too without reliability i.e. frequent call drops.. Better change your voip service provider or use voipdiscount over wifi..

I needed to reflash so I'm back to trying this again.

Is there supposed to be a 1 before your number?
Username: GV[insert your number here]@gvgw1.simonics.com
Username: GV[insert your number here] or Username (ex.GV1234567891)

So actually it would be something like GV11234567891?

Anyway, it's saying that my SIP account is Connected, however, when I try to dial anything, it rings for just a second, and I get the message Unable to establish a connection.

I've tripled checked all of my settings.

I really don't see what could be wrong on my end.

These are my settings on a N800 model.

I snipped the last 4 digits of my Google Voice number on a few of these screenshots.











Any ideas on what mistake I made?

It's been almost two weeks now and still can't seem to get this back to working again.

Even incoming calls aren't being captured.

It shows that I'm connected though.

Can anyone confirm that Simonics is up and running?

I have no clue what I've done wrong here.

I've never gotten Simonics to work at all.
