I pushed working git-1.7.9.5 to the extras-devel.
Optified.
Discussion about busybox-power and coreutils-gnu was not important. It just needs thinking. As these are equivalent:
[CODE]stat -c $FILE
stat $FILE | grep Inode | awk '{print $4}'

I have cloned repositories (on N900) which are failing with git-1.6.5.
