Oh, votes are annoying for you all? Then let's replace this by a proper dictatorship!
Anthonie, you are sentenced to do the protocols, every Friday on council meetings. Uh scrap that, when I'm dictator I don't need any more boring meetings. But I heard sixwheeledbeast has some really annoying and tedious task he urgently wants to hand over to you, sth about cleaning out ~90 pkgs/d from repository management.
Better now? Less boring and annoying? ;-P
Wait... For a decent dictatorship I'm missing some tough mean guys for the executive power, and maybe a corrupt judical system.
On a second thought votes (and what many of you call politics, I wonder if you think a rugby match is about politics as well) might be the least annoying of all alternatives. Sorry for the inconveniences this is causing for some of you.

No harm meant!

Apologies if that insulted you, joerg_w, but the smiley as reaction to the cats should have conveyed that message. I have zero reason to bitch and moan about anything. I vote every time.

AFAIK, Board still has to acknowledge the actual election process (any time soon).
A HiFo Board meeting is sceduled for today in ~20 minutes:
http://www.concert-oh.com/web/meetin...6M_VAnCLQaAA==
The meeting is public and open, you just need to create an account to access the meeting.
Join in and watch what happens.

EDIT: What a farce - meeting host (SD69) didn't show up on his meeting and yesterday Jim resigned.
So the meeting today basically did not materialize and was just a waste of time and now we're left with a 2-person Board.

Is there log/transcript for that meeting (if anything at all has been said there)

You need the token sent to your email address. If you don't have one, you can request one on the voting page.

You can read the comments by joining the meeting.
I think it uses flash and some javascript.

AFAIK, Woody14619 is calling for a meeting after elections.

I've just gave my vote. I am a developer and in my opinion the main challenge in front of our community is not to survive but to evolve.
