As you might know, Google has nearly killed its Reader service. The Old Reader tries to fill this gap with its web-based newsreader inspired by an older version of Google Reader. While this is all very nice, the real interesting part is this: http://blog.theoldreader.com/post/53...ate-june-17-23

Their API is nearly ready for beta testing and The Old Reader asks interested application developers to get in touch. Would you want to create a new or modify an existing Google Reader application to work with the The Old Reader? If so, you secured at least one user on both the N900 and the N9

Until a few months ago I used to use NewsFlow for google reader (N900). Since the announcement I stopped using GR and Newsflow, and use T-O-R (with microb, works fine).

Given that NewsFlow is just a QML "app", it may be easily tweakable. I have zero experience with QML, but if it's just a dumb language, it should be doable, of course once the T-O-R API is known.
